The 460 and 550 were the first two motoryachts delivered by Ferretti yachts and were the first luxury motoryachts to arrive in the country. The Italian yard was welcomed in style at Mumbai's Taj Mahal hotel. An exclusive ceremony was organized by local dealer, Marine Solutions, in collaboration with the Financial Times and City Bank Ultima Card.
More than a hundred guests representing the cream of Indian society, alongside members of the international press, witnessed the forging of a passionate bond between India and Ferretti Yachts on the banks of the Ganges, the sacred river overlooked by the Taj Mahal's Chamber Terrace. At night during the celebration there was something that caught everyone eye. A huge yard's logo was projected onto the waters of Mumbai, a symbol of the blossoming of this close understanding.
The two yachts were greeted at the port of Mumbai with spectacular fireworks. Number of celebrities & high profile personalities were present to welcome the yachts on the Indian water. There was an excitement & delight on the faces everyone present there. This sparked a passionate relationship between Ferretti Yachts and India.
